We welcome you to our hemp collection: a mini selection of eco-sustainable clothing, made with fabric derived from the fiber of hemp plants grown from our certified seeds, Enectaliana and Enectarol.
The garments we have chosen to offer you have a 100% natural composition, 50% hemp, 50% organic cotton. They are completely biodegradable and are produced within a short and controlled supply chain by Kombinat Konopny, the Polish company that brought hemp to Poland ten years ago while we were bringing it to Italy.
Sustainable clothing: a choice to make today
Did you know that 70% of the clothes we wear are made of synthetic fabric, which contains microplastics? We didn't know that! According to the Plastic Pollution Coalition, microplastic is present in 70 billion of the 100 billion garments sold each year globally. One study on microplastics says that inside a house, 33% of the microplastics in floating dust come from synthetic fabrics .
Before the plastic boom, clothing was made using natural resources such as cotton, leather, linen, silk, wool, and even hemp in much earlier times—fabrics that still boast long-lasting durability today. However, in the era of fast fashion, unfortunately, clothes and accessories, which are bought and discarded very quickly, are mainly made from synthetic fabrics like polyester, nylon, and acrylic. These fabrics facilitate large-scale, low-cost production but have harmful consequences for our planet and also for our health.

Both the production and disposal of clothes made from synthetic fabrics significantly impact low-income communities in developing countries, generating environmental and social injustices.

Why did we decide to offer Kombinat Konopny hemp clothes?
- The clothes made of hemp and organic cotton are entirely biodegradable and completely natural, fully aligning with our idea of promoting well-being and eco-sustainability.
- Today, most hemp clothing sold in Italy and Europe comes from China, India, and Nepal. We were looking for 100% EU-made hemp clothing, with a verifiable production chain.
- We produce high-quality CBD oils within an integrated and strictly controlled supply chain, but we cannot replicate this process for hemp clothing production, so we have relied on Kombinat Konopny, that, in addition to using our seeds for their own crops, boasts decades of experience in hemp production and manages a short, integrated, and ethical supply chain like ours, specializing in the production of clothing items.
How is the production process of hemp clothes carried out?
The hemp is grown directly by Kombinat Konopny in Poland with our Enectaliana and Enectarol hemp seeds. The organic cotton, on the other hand, comes from an ethical and controlled Greek plantation with which Kombinat Konopny has been collaborating for years. The textile fiber is processed by Kombinat Konopny, which handles the production of hemp clothing from start to finish locally, producing garments entirely made in Poland (EU).

FAQ
The hemp clothes should be washed by hand or in the washing machine with a delicate cycle at a maximum of 30°C. They should not be dry cleaned or bleached, but they can be tumble dried and ironed.
Hemp is a natural, ecological, durable, and breathable fabric. Hemp fabrics are thermoregulating and naturally antibacterial. Cool in summer and warm in winter, they help regulate skin perspiration.
Cotton is a natural fabric that is soft, lightweight, breathable, absorbent, and particularly durable, 100% biodegradable.
